  • Overview

    DPI seeks a PMO Manager with public sector expertise to lead our Program Management office. The PMO Manager provides leadership, organization and coordination to achieve the PMO’s key activities. This encompasses program planning, governance, and program management processes, oversight, and management. The PMO Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that all best practices and standards for both program and project management, and promote a culture of continuous process improvement.


    • Serve as the primary client facing resource for day-to-day activities.
    • Define program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
    • Liaise with program stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
    • Set and continually manage program expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
    • Plan and schedule program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
    • Track program milestones and deliverables.
    • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the program team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
    • Define program success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout program life cycle.
    • Conduct program post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful program elements.
    • Develop best practices and tools for program execution and management.
    • Ensures processes generate data and metrics regarding the vitality of the program.
    • Identify strategic issues and roadblocks preventing delivery of program.
    • Aligns strategic priorities in the program to ensure these are aligned with strategic priorities (business and technology).


    • Bachelor’s degree in management, technology, or other related field. Master’s Degree is a plus.
    • 10+ years of program management in a consulting environment.
    • Certification in program management preferred.
    • Experience managing multiple partners and clients.
    • A proven track record of on-time delivery of program and products.
